Japanese Sword Museum Thailand is the first museum of its kind in Southeast Asia, featuring one of the largest collections in the world outside Japan, dedicated to ancient Samurai culture. There you will find the history of Thai-Japanese relations, spanning over six hundred years as well permanent collection of rare masterpieces of Japanese Swords made by famous sword smiths.

One-of-a kind and perhaps biggest collection of unique Swords with recorded cutting tests (Tameshigiri), Swords fitting, Armor suits of Samurai warriors, other unusual samurai warrior weapons and equipment.

Museum hosts large collection of Samurai related articles , painted screens , traditional wood block prints by famous artists of 18-19 th century Japan , books and manuscripts.

The Founder of Museum :
Dr.Doytibet Duchanee have been collecting and studying the Japanese sword for more than 25 years. A life member of the Nippon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (NBTHK) in Tokyo, Japan.

Dr. Doytibet Duchanee is also an expert swordsman who studied Buttoujutsu Yagyu Seigo ryu, Yagyū Shinkage-ryū
as well as Jujitsu, Kenjutsu, Bojutsu , pole fighting technique.

His name is permanently recorded in the new Token Museum Tokyo to acknowledge his support to the organization.
